The 2005-2006 Z1000 continues the super naked formula: a 953 cc DOHC inline-four from the ZX-9R family in a steel frame that uses the engine as a stressed member. Digital fuel injection with 38 mm throttle bodies, liquid cooling with an oil cooler, and four stainless mufflers with a catalyser are part of the package. A bikini cowl with dual headlights and an LCD instrument cluster complete the look.
